The Ultravap Mini is a blowdown evaporator purpose-designed for low throughput use in research and development departments where low numbers of individual plates or vials need drying. It is simple to operate and maintain. Installation requires only connection to a gas supply and a standard mains socket, and its compact, lightweight design makes it straightforward to position within a standard fume cupboard.
Manual controls allow the operator to adjust needle depth, gas temperature and flow rate, providing precise control and quicker dry-down times than standard methods such as vacuum oven. Maximum temperature is 60°C and maximum flow rate is 90 litres per minute.
The Ultravap Mini is compatible with ANSI/SLAS standard microplate and tube/vial holder formats. A choice of needle heads is available for 12, 24, 48, 96 and 384 well positions, and a range of straight and spiral needle heads is offered to suit different applications. Needle head is not included and is ordered separately.
The Ultravap Mini is designed and manufactured by Kbiosystems, part of Porvair Life Sciences. It carries UKCA and CE certification.
