Kbiosystems Selected as OEM Partner

A leading global life science instrumentation company selected Kbiosystems as its OEM engineering and manufacturing partner for two automated microplate heat sealing platforms.

For international instrument brands, technical reliability is essential. When hardware carries the name of a global brand, every aspect of the design, performance and reproducibility must be beyond question. Kbiosystems designed, engineered and manufactured both platforms in-house at its facility in Basildon.

The first platform is optimised for high throughput robotic integration, sealing up to six plates per minute. It supports PCR, colorimetric, fluorescence and long-term storage seal formats and is integration-ready through RS232 protocol control.

The second-generation platform advances to all-electric operation, eliminating the contamination risk associated with pneumatically driven systems. It also features closed-loop sealing force monitoring, savable protocol libraries through touchscreen control, and compatibility with plate heights from 8 mm to 46 mm without mechanical adapters.
