In precision bio-coating applications, the reliability of the equipment directly determines the quality and consistency of the final result. For TheraDep Technologies, which applies biologic coatings to pharmaceutical microplates using Cold Atmospheric Plasma deposition, standard lab automation was not enough.
The process requires exact temperature control, consistent plate handling and contamination-free operation between runs. CAP-treated surfaces and specific microplate geometries also demand an automation solution that is engineered around the actual workflow, rather than forcing the protocol to fit a standard system.
